In which case, seems as good a time as any to tell the story about the plans for a weekend withdiffrentcolours' family coming up: the other day he told me that his mum had suggested something like "and then in the morning, the guys can help with any little projects around the house, and us girlies can go into town and go wedding dress shopping!" (because D's sister is getting married).
I just looked at him, tried not to laugh, and said "I asuume you told her that for these purposes I am a boy, right?" Yeah, if these are the two genders, DIY and wedding-dress shopping, I know which one I am. I didn't even want to go wedding-dress shopping for my own wedding dress...
