[3/366] word
Jan. 3rd, 2020 05:25 pm3 For every day of 2020, you will be required to wear a t-shirt with the same one word on it. What word will you choose?
My first thought was something like "queer" or "fuck" but considering some of those days I'll see my parents, this is a difficult one!
I'm a big fan of Sarah Millican and when I went to see her she did this whole great thing about saying no to things and she handed out badges at the end that said "No." I could probably do with less politeness and less reflexive attempting to be helpful and accommodating and putting myself last.

Today has been pretty good: I've been able to actually write the first 300 or so words of the first of the three essays I have to write in the next week or two (total word count for all of them: 9000) which feels much more like Getting Real Work Done than the necessary reading and taking notes I'd been doing until now.
Then I got to see Lucy and her kids, which are growing alarmingly despite me hardly ever getting to see them (they're basically at the stage where the younger one is about the age I think the older one should be). We went around the vivarium and the taxidemry/fossils section of Manchester museum.
And now I'm on my way to Currybeer!
