Jen, who runs BiPhoria and Bi Community News has put together a list of suugested nominations for the LGF's "Homo Heroes" awards:

• volunteer of the year - Natalya Dell, or the BiCon 2011 team
  
• community group or organisation - Bisexual Index or BiPhoria

I'd be delighted if any of the suggestions got through to the voting stage. No bisexual activist or group has won these awards before. I'm not sure if any have even got through the nomination stage..

To nominate in each category you do need to write in why you made your choice, and you do also need to give an email address at the end. I'm sure the voting stage won't be so onerous but in order for any of those nominations to get through, we're going to need to push them now.

If you can think of reasons why you'd support those nominations, please do visit the site and add them.
