I am not surprised at all that someone is gonna try to primary Klobuchar. I'm only mildly surprised it's someone I know online because he's on the same fedi instance as me. I just know him as the Cookie Mom and now he's doing a new thing!

He's campaigning on abolishing the Department of Homeland Security, bringing our neighbors home, and not taking the support of the DFL base for granted.

I'm going to have to think about that. I dislike Klobuchar for numerous reasons. I'm always torn when a white man looks like a better candidate than someone who isn't a white man. Because we need more voices, and none of them/us will be perfect.

Also, I might want to join mastodon and that fedi instance. Might find people to connect with there

That's a good idea; everybody that I hung out with when D and I were in Minneapolis who wasn't you, was people I know from MSP Social. And that's -- I think I've said -- how I found out ways that I can help from here to de-ICE Minnesota.

Fedi is mostly like twitter in how to use it, getting set up can be a little annoying, so I am happy to help if I can.

I was never on twitter or insta and haven't joined bluesky yet either. I have friends who have migrated to several places and I may find them again. Or just meet new people.

I was active on OKC group chat, and on G+ when those existed. The G+ group mostly went to discord, but at best, there are 6 of us active there out of about 100 members.

Once I get through a bit more of the house chaos, I'll come back to this.
