I told tartful_dodger last night that I was sorry I hadn’t seen more of him, at least without Dan, lately and told him I have a plague of boyfriends.

Later I got to inform shinydan that I had a plague of boyfriends. He said “Oh no, I’m not having ‘plague’ be the collective noun for boyfriends!” and I said “Oh, that’s a great idea!” so now it is.

doctorstewie has already picked out his particular class of disease for the sort of plague he’s being. I think that makes it official.
