Hobnobs > digestives*

Tea with hobnobs > coffee with Hobnobs

(In other circumstances, tea < coffee or tea = coffee, but in this case it's obvious as hobnobs taste better dipped in tea.)

However,

Taking the rest of the coffee out of the pot that Andrew’s already made > putting the kettle on for myself.

Oh dear.

You've been here in England a while, and made great strides... but there's a still a way to go I fear.

Nonono.

Hobnobs alone > Digestives alone.

Plain Digestives dipped in hot tea > Chocolate Digestives dipped in hot tea > Hobnobs dipped in hot tea.

(This may be because plain digestives and hot tea was my comfort food while revising for years, YMMV.)
