Thus says the text I just got from doctorstewie when it was finally ascertained, through a flurry of text messages, that he wants to be my boyfriend and I want to be his girlfriend.

Oh the joy of predictive text! I imagine he wanted ‘woohoo’ (which I actually got in the following message from saintmaryuk after she’d been told the news) but part of me likes ‘voodoo’ rather better.

Ooh, I was just thinking that! If you get here soon you'll probably see more snow than you're likely to have seen in your life :) And we have a spare room to offer you and everything!

Of course all the snow makes me want to be somewhere like Madrid even more. :) But I haven't had any income since October, need to sort that out first...

Well, if you think Madrid would offer you blue skies and balmy temperatures right about now, you're in for a big surprise. It's COLD. It has even snowed a few times already, which is unprecedented. It has even snowed on the beach!

Anyway, I'll get thinking about the trip thing. Something to look forward to :-)

I was foiled by train cancellations today but luckily my new boyfriend has a car (it's been a long time since I hard a partner who drove; I could get used to this!) so I could phone him up after a mere 45 minutes running around Piccadilly station and he immediately and cheerfully offered to come and pick me up. Lovely man :) So ha, take that, snow!
