The type basket of dreams
Oct. 4th, 2012 09:49 amA few times last night I woke up because my pillow was being shoved off the side of the bed (no doubt by some mysterious force that has nothing to do with the man on the other side of me who chases after me for cuddles if I roll away from him).
And the first time I shoved it back I thought like a carriage return. I'm almost not old enough to know about manual typewriters and here I am, nine-tenths asleep, making analogies like this?
It's like a carriage return, and my head is tapping out my dreams on the pillowcase.
