More trees

These are the trees I was missing when I was taking pictures of these trees.

These are trees around our house. And not just trees, of course, but snow! I don't remember ever being as excited for snow as I have been this year. I know well that the excitement, no matter how much there is, wears off long before winter iss over ... but with any luck I should be out of here before that happens this year! Admittedly I'll be somewhere just as cold and dreary, but without the snow. Maybe that's why I'm so glad to see it now.

And of course this snow won't last. Not with that sun. And it's supposed to get into the low forties this weekend, so whatever's left today will be burned off then. In the meantime the sunlight makes the snow dazzle, and the cloudless sky doesn't seem to know it's no longer autumn, because it's still that breathtaking blue that you see at no other time of the year.

Looks like you are in the middle of nowhere. I would go INSANE. I need the city.

That's so very beautiful. Makes me want to run out and roll in the stuff (says the clueless Californian).

How close is your nearest neighbor?
