Apparently some kind of study has revealed this statisical anomaly. Women give birth to sons more often when the parents live together at the time of conception. This is apparently a big deal becasue it's the first evidence that living arrangements can affect the human sex ratio at birth.
I thought they just meant that living with a guy was like having a child around ...

i got to thinking about the lesbian couples i know. almost all of them have girls. and a bunch of them have twin girls. might be something to that theory!
