I just saw this headline on The Guardian's website: To give birth to a boy you need a live-in man.

Apparently some kind of study has revealed this statisical anomaly. Women give birth to sons more often when the parents live together at the time of conception. This is apparently a big deal becasue it's the first evidence that living arrangements can affect the human sex ratio at birth.

I thought they just meant that living with a guy was like having a child around ...
