I missed having a TV in my room this year at school, since it was a thing I'd gotten used to in past years. And it's because I could do things like what I did tonight.

Tonight I turned off the light, turned on the DVD player, and curled up on my bed with Wilbur to watch Pirates of the Caribbean.

Wilbur's my stuffed frog. I got him for Christmas from [livejournal.com profile] greenflower our freshman year. He's soft and green and as nice for cuddling as inanimate objects can get.

We lay there and watched the movie, me with my arm around him. He doesn't like the piratey bits, though--he is, after all, only three and a half years old--and so he hides from the scary things. Doesn't really like the kissing, either. I don't blame him though, really.

People are better to cuddle with.

And they enjoy kissing.

Don't you LOVE seeing Johnny Depp all dirty, swaggery, and piratey-like?

Mmmmm!

Actually, while it was an atrocious attempt at a *human* English accent, it *was* the best Keef impression ever...

Hehe, that was a cute entry.

If only Wilbur were a frog prince or something... ;)

Hehe, John Cleese.

It's good to be back! I just need to find more time to write! :)

Exactly. The frog is where you are, and we aren't. Therefore, we are jealous of the frog.

Ah, but soon, the shoe will be on the other webbed foot, and the frog shall be jealous of me!

Unless she takes the frog with her, in which case only I will be jealous.

I suppose I will. Manchester, is it? What's the airfare like?

Well, a *one-way* ticket from where Holly lives is $400. I wouldn't know the cost of a return ticket ;)

Actually, it's usually in the $300-$500 range for a return journey from most parts of the US, if you book at a sane time rather than 2 weeks before the flight. And you'd be very welcome to visit :)

Thanks for the invite. I might have to look into it.

No, it was only the one ear. I'm happy to nibble on the neglected one. :)
