What did you have occasion to compile?

I wasn't compiling things; he was. I think he's still enamored of SuSE and KDE; it also seems to have given him several chances to compile things. He mentioned how much he loves compiling more than once, anyway.

You're still not infallible all the time.

This made me laugh. (I know you'll think everything makes me laugh, but that's not true.) It's just cool that you can mistake one of your friends' journals for another, rather dissimilar, friend's journal.

Not completely dissimilar, I guess; we do share this love of compiling. And to think, there was a point at which you told me compiling was important and fun and I told you you were crazy. Look how far I've come.

And they actually worked this time.

I feel so accomplished.

See, that's what we mean. It gives one such a great sense of accomplishment. Darren and I are at about equal levels of knowledge and experience with Linux, so it's not often that we can type things in and make really cool things happen, so we really enjoy this.
