I've been horrible at making comments that last ... oh ... year or so (I was going to say weeks! has it really been so long since I've been so bad at using LJ to actually communicate?) but I wanted to tell you that I totally enjoyed your recent entries and commented in my head to that effect, especially on the ipod gift entry and the photo album entry, and on the shaving sideburns one, when I know I laughed to myself probably inappropriately but there was just something about the writing that made me grin at your plight. :) So, here's me actually saying that I always enjoy your entries, and I am glad you take the time to write them, and I'll try to be better about actually getting that across in the entries themselves!
Oh that's lovely! Thanks so much for saying so. i totally understand that "commenting in my head" thing, as I do it all the time myself (twice just yesterday!).
Stuff like the photo album entry I write entirely expecting no one else to care, happy enough burbling on my own in this little virtual corner of the internet. Of course it's far more delightful to hear somebody else loves them too, and it's fine to laugh; I write these things the way I do to make them funny for other people (you should have seen the delight other people got out of the time I put garlic instead of ginger on my oatmeal).
I hope 2012 brings you all the good things you want -- even, possibly, time to comment on LJ entries!
