[47/366] very Sunday
Feb. 16th, 2020 10:46 pmExcept for lack of sleep (my whiny dog disrupted a whole houseful of people! good thing he's so cute), I had a nice chilled day.
Sometimes literally, when I took Gary for a walk in the cold windy weather. We got hailed on just as we were getting back, it was bouncing off my poor boy as we ran to the front door. It took me forever to warm up again; there was hail in my hair and a piece of it got inside my jacket and went down the back of my t-shirt, literally spine-chilling.
But otherwise it was nice. I went to Bi Coffee, was very amused by the Italian who's lived four years in Liverpool telling me how much she dislikes Scouse English, witnessed the invention of Bi-ngo (bisexual-themed bingo), and was at the table talking about animal poo while the other table of us lot was having serious conversations about gender or something.
I ate a honey bun from legendary Ho's Bakery in Chinatown, which we handily passed on the way to the bus stop, made the now-usual weekend dinner of pasta (though usually I just chop vegetables, this time I ended up doing the other stuff), watched both last week's and this week's Doctor Who (they were both good, last week's was better though) and have come home to an early bedtime before a busy day tomorrow.
