Slow day, let's have a question. Ooh this is an interesting one, something I hadn't thought about before.

9. Do you have any embarrassing usernames?

I'm at least slightly embarrassed by all of them, frankly. I almost never re-use them so there are many chances to cringe.

I have an apparently incurable taste for bad puns. Often connected to my different real-world names -- it's incorporated them all now -- which is also a bit silly isn't it.

I suppose maybe? More embarrassing is that one of those user accounts is on Fetlife, and I can't remember enough about it to know if I deleted it or not.

Yeah, too many creeper/stalker/abuser types on there, for sure. Very different chapter in my life.

Yeah, whenever I go to sign up for a new service where my name will actually be displayed to people and I will use it to interact with them there, and I have to choose my branding on the fly, I end up picking something that I don't like later, because I don't want to delay using the service while I dither. I've done better with renames where I take time to consider what name I want to switch to. (This account name is one of those.) My Discord displayed name is pretty boring, but it's how everyone knows me in the one server I'm active in. I'd use my real first name, but I don't like that either.
