One of the things that makes me most angry about the DSA tech support people taking my laptop away and imaging it is that I'd just gotten a tough problem fixed with the most important bit of assistive tech I have, the screen reader/magnifier. It took hours of shared-screen time when I should've been revising for my exams, and more than one phone call to the manufacturer to get it fixed.

And since they wiped that Windows installation, the original problem has come back now.

I am so tired I could cry.

This is why I get pissed off when people assume the AT suppliers do a good job.
