I certainly have been this year, with spring being so late. The last three days I've been almost teary with relief that I can go outside easily, nothing hurts (the cold is painful for me), I can see more easily (sunshine is the best for my eyes)... I thought the sun would never come back this year, and I'm so grateful that it has
2. Have you ever been twitterpated (infatuated or obsessed. In a state of nervous excitement)?
Of course! I mean, I was a teenager... I can't help but thinking I have also been in the sense in which I learned the word "twitterpated," from Bambi, where it's all about the animals getting infatuated with each other in the spring. I mean, it's James's and my anniversary a couple days ago, so I know this is definitely what I was like five years ago.
3. What does Spring taste like to you?
Purple sprouting broccoli in my veg box, fresh herbs starting to grow again in the windowsill to put on things.
4. When was the last time you visited an ice cream truck?
I think I had one such ice cream last summer? I can't remember. There were two that were very busy on the university campus yesterday when I was sitting on the grass eating my lunch, but mostly I can take or leave ice cream so I didn't join the queues.
5. Do you know what song your ice cream truck plays?
Teddy Bear's Picnic. Though I've heard it at night in January and I'm pretty sure it's a drug-selling truck fronting as an ice-cream truck...Or maybe the ghost of an ice cream truck: I only seem to hear it, not see it!
