Wheel of the Year

It may still be chilly and gray, but yesterday I got purple sprouting broccoli in my veg box, and last night I watched Opening Day baseball (the Twins' relief pitching sucked so they lost). So it was officially the first day of spring.

It is a favorite of mine, and because my veg box provides all the vegetables I can eat in a week (and then some, sometimes), I only get it when they bring it to me, which is for a short time every year. It's one of the things I always get really excited about seeing.

Yay. Tigers lost their game in 13 after having won it in 11. Hooray, Spring!

Twins lost an extremely winnable game. Relief pitching let then down. They tied it up in the ninth and what's the point of playing two extra innings if you're still gonna lose anyway!

Still, hooray. :)
