i dunno / in my own circumstance, some of my more ... correctible problems, mood and etcetera-wise, are dietary .. which is to say that if i go too many days without vegetables and/or garlic, i feel low and mean.

on the Minnesota end of things, i notice from time-to-time uprooted Minnesotans thriving in Los Angeles, and it's not always Metal Band or Porn related.

( though i've visited Boston and NYC, the concept of Los Angeles scares the bejesus out of me )

Indeed :) Not all at once! But I know my parents have had that in the last couple of weeks. My mom is despairing of having to shovel every single day (if there isn't new snow, there's high winds blowing around the old snow).
