Aw, nautiluses (nautili?) are so awesome. My favorite episode of Life on Earth is the one that includes them (though in this house it's known as "the one with the jellyfishes" or just "jellyfishes!")
Damn! I can't find it now! It was something a friend shared on Google Reader, and I cannot now see any trace of it. :) Sorry! I'm rubbish at attribution.
Just feeling a bit... unraveled, is the best way I can think of to describe it. Things seem to be -- and seemed much more last night -- suboptimal for a lot of people around me, and I was feeling not just helpless but also oddly detached from it all, like I used to get when I had a migraine, and this felt very much like a brain-chemistry thing too, but having a name to call it didn't really help all that much. Today I felt less bad emotionally but worse neurologically, at least at first. I think I'm getting a bit better as the day goes on, but there's the distinct possibility I'm fooling myself there. But hey, placebo-better is still better!
