kalieris sent me a link a couple of days ago to http://subversivecrossstitch.com/, which does just what it says. I like "People are cattle" the best; the cow design on the border helps, as does the fact that I'm still debating whether I would have mine say "People are cattle" or "Cattle are people."

I don't eat them anyway (cows I mean) (well I don't eat humans either!) but less because they're people and more because red meat doesn't like my digestive system, or vice versa, any more.

You could make it reversible! "People are cattle" on one side, "cattle are people" on the other. Then hang it on the wall and flip it from time to time and see who notices.

A brilliant idea! And adds to the fnord-ness of it all.

However I feel there may be a flat in it, due to no fault of your own though, and that is that there's never anybody in my house except me, and Andrew who wouldn't notice it was there in the first place for several months.

I know messing with your spouse's head is part of the joy of marriage, but when you live with someone who, lying in bed one night says "What's that green light on the ceiling?" and you have to answer "That's the smoke detector, dear. It has been there all along," it's just too easy to be fun. Shooting fish in a barrel, etc.
