Oh, my usual work shoes are slip-ons that cost £7.50 and manage to clash equally with brown and black so I can wear them all the time, and I do. I love them. (My Docs aren't allowed at work, or I wouldn't have had to spend the £7.50!) But, when my feet are up to it (I don't mind the heels, but the soles are so thin that my feet always get sore), it's fun to bring out the tall boots.
