You could do an English English version around 'boot'. The punchline would be 'and x wants a boot up the arse', but I'm not sure what the x would be, or indeed who/what would sport a boot in the front.

I wasn't even going for a punchline; a book I'm re-reading gave me reason to notice the elephant/car thing, and then while trying to think of some other use of trunk the last sentence occurred to me. I was delighted.
It's really rather sweet. Especially the exclamation mark at the end. It could be a nursery rhyme. I suspect mine will turn out to be the kind of thing that could be sung by Millwall fans*.
*Being English really, you will of course 'get' this reference.
