I need a muffler for my brain

Today I shopped for groceries without moving my ass from this couch, which is something I'm quickly becoming very fond of. And I took out the garbage. And I cleaned the kitchen, which really needs it because there's still a mouse there (the estate agent gave us some poison for it, but the mouse doesn't seem very impressed, despite my slathering peanut butter on it).

And I looked at all I had done and saw that it was good. So then I made some art.

I drew this, one of the verses of "I Need," by Stuart Davis, a song I really like.

Then I showed it to Darren and he said it was sad and funny. Bah. I bet Stuart Davis would love me for it. But then he (Darren, not Stuart Davis) told me he liked the gritted teeth, and I felt better. He's an art major, you know, so he must know what he's talking about concerning these sorts of things.

I bet it'd be much better if I could draw hands. Or a cure for cancer. (But surely there must be an Erlenmeyer flask involved!) Never mind; I'm off to make myself some lunch.
