Somewhere between Clapham South and Finsbury Park, I told Andrew, "I can't decide if I like the tube or not." By the next day (that was Saturday) I think I'd decided that I do. I like the map, with all its weird place names and colorful lines and the way it has nothing to do with the actual geography. I like the way it tells you the next stop and the final stop of whatever train you're on. I like the blue and red signs. And I love that the tube has its own geeks, who love it. I think if I lived in London (don't worry; Andrew will never let that happen), I might end up as one of them.

And what on earth were you doing in Clampham South?
Incidentally, if you go to Brixton, tell everybody that I say hello.
