Standing in line at Wal-Mart one night, Darren and I couldn't help but notice this headline. I took a picture of it with my camera.

I like the way the baby is just laying there with its arms splayed, looking with remarkable calmness at the monster who has apparently got it in its clutches.

I also like that Darren thought "camper" was referring not to an RV but to, y'know, a person who was camping. He did his impression of a flaming camper, mostly flailing and yelling "I'm on fire!"

Oh, that's a good point. I only remember that "camp" means "gay" when I'm around British people... I'm sure Darren could've done a good impression of that kind of flaming camper, too.

I saw the picture and immediately thought of a person on fire -- or possibly an extremely homosexual outdoorsman -- before I read your post and thought, "oooooooh, an RV!"

Now that I think about it, I really have no reason to think that my original impression is any more likely to be right than these other two involving campers as people instead of vehicles. Perhaps the ambiguity is part of the fun. :-)
