It's not fair to only talk about [livejournal.com profile] stealthmunchkin when we're not getting along, because that's not how I think about him most of the time.

Now we just talk about why anyone would ask Mr. Tambourine Man to play a song when really you can't play much of a song with only a tambourine, and things like that. It's very nice. And it's a shame that I've only been talking about the bad things and not the nice things.

stealthmunchkin1: I miss you so very much
ylloh2221: I miss you too. I've been thinking about you all day. Probably because I haven't had anything else to do, and I always think of you when I don't have anything else to do.
ylloh2221: You're like my brain's screensaver.

You talk about me when we're getting along, as well. You're just feeling guilty because none of your friends like me after last month, but since I don't know most of them, it doesn't bother me ;)

I didn't say they hated me, just that they don't like me.
And you *have* spoken about me a fair bit, just more in the comments than the entries.
(Can't get on AIM at the moment as I'm leaving soon, but I'll phone later).

I think you overestimate your ability to put people off.

Not my ability to put people off. Holly's ability to tell her friends only my bad points for over a month, thus making them think I'm some kind of monster ;)

I think you're overestimating the amount of bad that comes through Holly's writing, too. Anyone she misses and adores as much as you can't possibly be a monster.

I wasn't talking as much about her friends on here. Holly tells me that she spent a large part of January moaning to her RL friends about how dreadful I am, and that's why she was saying it's not fair to only talk about me when we're not getting on.

"Mr. Tambourine Man" is supposedly a metaphor for Dylan's muse......it's the music he hears in his mind that inspires him to write a song. That's what the song's about, more or less....at least according to Dylan.

The song (Catch a Friend) that Andy and I recently did together is similar, in that there's an owl named Jim (in the song), and he represents the artist's muse. It's one of the best tracks we've done together, imo, in no small part due to Geoff Howe's contributions (harmonies, acoustic guitar, and percussion).

Hope you like it when you get a chance to hear it. It's a very Andy-sounding song. I'm glad he'll finally get a chance to hear one of his songs in finished form....it's been a while.
