Before I forget

In my recent past, two people decided that I looked "cute" or "adorable" and took my picture. As someone who doesn't fuss over her appearance at all and has a long history of being less than photogenic, I was delighted by this.

That's because you do in fact look cute and adorable. And you don't photograph well, but you still look good in most of the ones I've seen.
Incidentally, where did you get the Ian Dury line in your profile? I know I played you some of his stuff, but only once or twice, and I don't think you'd have remembered the line from there...

Sheesh, even I'd forgotten that that was there. But it does seem fitting somehow; I like it. Of course I got that from you! I don't forget everything. :-)

At work still? Aww. You tease me so with your comments, the tantalizing hope of conversation, and then ... nothing! Well, a phone call in an hour's not nothing. Maybe I'll have the dishes done by then! I hope I'll have started, at least. I have to clean some of them before I can eat, so that should be a good incentive, but my laziness is a force to be reckoned with; I'd rather just sit here and philosophize on LJ, despite the obviously superior productivity points gained by washing dishes.

I thought so too! Once I was just lying on the couch talking with a friend of mine and he got up and said "Don't movie an inch." I thought he just had to pee or something but he came back with his digital camera and said he just wanted to take my picture. The other time i fell asleep while watching a movie in this big comfy chair a friend of mine has, and I woke up to her giggling at me; when I asked why she was it was because I looked adorable, so she took my picture too. It's a delightful trend they have started. :-)
