ah, the age old question... i'm questing for the ultimate satisfaction. good luck to me. hope you find yours...or at least what-it-is. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
And I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. Tune in next week, same holly_lama time, same holly_lama channel, and find out what happens to our hero.
Heck, around here, you don't even have to wait a week. There are updates every half an hour, it seems. But the actual answer I am seeking, well, that's probably going to take longer. A week at least!—that's the conservative estimate.
I feel like I'm looking for something, but I don't know what it is.
That's life.
You could argue that the quests in books are an external expression of, or a metaphor for, this sense that we have of seeking, travelling, being dimly aware that there should be a purpose to our lives. But whereas in books a convenient god or wizard or oracle comes and tells you what your purpose is, in real life, you have to make your own. You can select your own band of travelling companions, and create your own monsters (many of whom turn out to be inside your own head), and decide what objects you should be collecting along the way. Of course, you also get to decide whether you've been successful in your quest or not...
i agree. and once you think you've found your goal, another one pops up. i've been on a constant search for something forever and i'm glad that i always have something to seek.
