Date: 2004-05-18 11:21 am (UTC)Besides, my journal's seemed all Iraq and gay-marriage and mad-at-the-family (and other stupid people) recently; I felt I needed some more absurdity around here. I hold myself to a high standard in this respect, you know.

Date: 2004-05-18 11:44 am (UTC)Oh, by the way, I don't think I ever told you that I got Mandrake up and running quite easily once my computer's video card (or something) decided to behave itself again so the computer didn't just beep at me when I turned it on. (Of course it's easy though, I have no network for it, not even a printer, nothing complicated!) I'm happy with it, except I don't have XMMS and I don't know why, and a couple of other things that are probably my fault and not its. I gave Slackware a shot, but it immediately started asking me questions I don't know the answers to, so I was much happier to deal with Mandrake's installation stuff.
As I was telling
'Dozen', huh? Hmm...

Date: 2004-05-18 11:59 am (UTC)But chai and literature are good options too.
(no subject)
Date: 2004-05-18 01:32 pm (UTC)Personally, I'd still opt for the chai and intellectual talk, it would last longer and be much more memorable.

Date: 2004-05-18 02:07 pm (UTC)Still, I would not complain a bit at chai and conversation. You guys are good at knowing what I really like.

Date: 2004-05-18 04:30 pm (UTC)Like love and romance, tea doesn't have to be "hot" to be enjoyed.

Date: 2004-05-18 05:37 pm (UTC)ewww. Where do you find that anyhow? Closest thing I've ever seen to unsweetened iced tea is when I leave my tea out for too long and it gets cold.

Date: 2004-05-18 06:18 pm (UTC)Besides, I have none. My friend Darren accused me of acting like an American yesterday, but that was just for talking on my cell phone in public. I didn't think that was very nice of him.

Date: 2004-05-19 02:13 am (UTC)And talking on a cellphone in public is evil - even when it's me you're talking to. But in that case (and only that case) it's forgivable.

Date: 2004-05-19 06:45 am (UTC)It's nice that you and

Date: 2004-05-19 06:47 am (UTC)And liking tea *at all* is bizarre. Tea is the Devil's piss. Coffee is the One True Beverage.
I would come on GAIM now, BTW, but I'm off out the door to cash my giro before the post office closes...

Date: 2004-05-18 12:23 pm (UTC)Let's stroll through a farmer's market/flea market together and discuss etymology and big words ;)

Date: 2004-05-18 12:26 pm (UTC)I'd like to go to the zoo with you, so we could take pictures of and laugh at the tourists. And say hi to all the animals, of course, although I doubt we're anything but an annoyance for them.

Date: 2004-05-18 09:14 pm (UTC)Anyway, what I did say was that I always thought it would be cool to go on a road trip with you. (...perhaps to a Ben Folds concert?)

Date: 2004-05-19 06:55 am (UTC)Speaking of road trips, though, did you say you're coming here tomorrow? Wow! When? You want directions? :-) Feel free to call or e-mail me about this. Man, I suppose I should pack then, too... :-) This trip has managed to sneak up on me, despite us having talked about it for a month or something by this point.

Date: 2004-05-30 10:44 am (UTC)I'd like to pick up men with cool accents with you. They could dazzle us with their varying dialect and we can make them swoon with our undying sexiness.
That sounds like fun to me! :)
