1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
"Alll of these categories of Modern English words exhibiting i-mutation"
2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
The window. Or, more accurately, the screen.
3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Whatever Sarah was channel-surfing to last night.
4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is:
The daylight savings thing is messing me up, and I don't know if my computer's clock has switched or not anyway, but it said it was around nine when I got up and I magine it's been an hour since then.
5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:
10:12.
6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:
I thought I heard a bird singing, but isn't it too early for that? In the year, I mean, not in the day.
7: When did you last step outside? What were you doing?:
When Katie and Josh brought Sarah, Seth and I back from Don's in the middle of the night.
8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?:
I wasn't looking at any other websites. So I'll steal
stealthmunchkin's answer and say "the GNOME desktop". Mine is currently a picture of me and
ivana_duboise in front of the cherry spoon.
9: What are you wearing?:
Pajamas.
10: Did you dream last night?:
I don't even remember falling asleep last night.
11: When did you last laugh?:
Last night, I suppose.
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?:
Pictures of my friends, postcards from France, a Breakfast at Tiffany's movie poster in Italian, a photocopy of a page of Old English manuscript I had to translate in class one day but kept just because it's cool-looking.
13: Seen anything weird lately?:
My reflection?
14(a): What book are you currently reading?:
You mean besides my music history textbook and my scholarly articles about "paronomasia in Old English scripture verses"? Ha. I don't have time to read for fun.
14(b): What is the last book you finished?:
To Sail Beyond the Sunset
15: What is the last film you saw?:
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:
Cars for my friends who don't have them and wish they did. Then maybe my own computer.
17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:
Who is this "I"? Well, here's something: my right foot has fallen asleep.
18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you change?:
Europeans' takeover of the Western Hemisphere.
19: Do you like to dance?:
I'm no good at dancing.
20: What is the last thing you ate or drank?
A cheeseburger at Don's.
21(a): Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?:
Empress Josephine
21(b): Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?:
Empress Josephine
22: Would you ever consider living abroad?:
I've never actually been out of the country. Even to Canada, which is not that far away. I'd like to do that at least, and I think I can say I would at least consider living abroad. Besides, this person I met keeps bothering me to move to England...
