setharoo called to talk to my illustrious roommate, but she was in the shower at the moment so i chatted with him until she was available again. mllesarah came back and wandered around in her towel and had various nefarious schemes to distract me and probably make me a nuisance to the person I was talking to on the phone.

And then I had this horrible realization: this had all happened before! Just yesterday, in fact.

Yesterday I was talking to stealthmunchkin on the phone and evil_grapefruit came over to use our shower since the water heater had exploded at her house, and when she came back into my room she danced around in her nakedness and yelled and was actually more distracting than Sarah but otherwise acting similarly.

Both put their towels around their heads. Sarah called herself the Nearly Nude Nun. Jenn threatened to beat me up and hawk loogies on me.

Tomorrow I'll make sure there's no one in the shower before I answer the phone!

Isn't it not the same kind of hawk? A hawk is a kind of bird, while to hock a loogie is spelled diffently. To be fair, I did have underwear (panties) on, and only wanted to know whether to wear raquetball clothes or no.

I thought of that, too, after I posted it, but I don't konw how else it would be spelled. But "hocking" only makes me think of pawn shops. :-) I think I am doomed either way. And yes, you did have underwear on and the rest of your clothing depended on the results of the telephone conversation with Seth. But I would've just stood there boringly, in my underwear, had I been in your situation. I was celebrating your unusual nature.

Perhaps when I replace my motorcycle (hopefully within a year), and have a job that gives me summers off (I'm trying to land a teaching gig), I will plan a "Grand Tour of the Country" trip. If so, Minnesota would be an interesting destination. Thoughts?

Minnesota is an interesting destination. Of course, the part where I live now is not very interesting--it is flat and unpopulated--but other parts are. And this isn't the part where I plan on being in a year, anyway. I highly recommend the parts of the state that have trees and lakes and such, and there are a lot of those.

And evil_grapefruit, at least, would probably argue with your assumption that there would be no semi-clad lass cavorting. She does that sort of thing a lot, even around strangers--such as the people who painted the garage of the house we were living in last summer--and you're not that strange. :-) So I'm sure something could be arranged...

I'd say that it helps if they live in your apartment, but in the case of the evil grapefruit that's not even true.

Naked women are permitted, nay encouraged, to use my shower, especially if this will cause them to dance around naked in front of me. For some reason, none wish to do so...

I don't know if I'd call it "dancing" as such. Especially in Jenn's case; it was more like when animals get themselves ready to fight other animals. There's a word for it that would make me seem much smarter and less clumsy here, but I can't think of it. I like the simile so I'll post this anyway.
