"Sugar-free snack cakes"
Feb. 27th, 2004 03:35 pmMy roommate is making cupcakes. I don't think she's baked anything before. I can hear Jenn giving her tips like, "Hang on to the bowl, or it'll fly around when you turn in the mixer" and "Turn it on slow, so the powdery stuff doesn't get everywhere" and "You can eat as much batter as you want!" and "Make sure you wipe down the toaster [which is near where she was mixing] when you're done."

Cupcakes without frosting are still good.
And...
Jenn must be evil to tell your roommate to eat all the batter she wants, because then she'll be left with no cupcakes!
There. (Now this comment better go through, gosh darn it.)

Whenever she's depressed, she'll make muffin mix, with no intention of making muffins--she just eats it out of the bowl. Last weekend we made chocolate chip cookies and ate a lot of the dough--me becuase I was the sad one then, and because I like cookie dough, her because she's a proponent of eating dough.
Asha did still have enough left to make many cupcakes, and she was really excited about this. And I took a picture of her with chocolate batter all over her face. So it worked out well.
