Dreams

Last night I had a dream that They Might Be Giants broke up. I saw them talking about it on TV. People were very distraught, like it was the Beatles or something.

I also had a dream that a very nice boy gave me a very good backrub.

I woke up to find neither of those things are true. I really like They Might Be Giants but I'd really like a very nice backrub right about now, too, so I couldn't decide if I'm happy or sad that it was all a dream.

I think that's a common oversight--no wonder so many people don't end up with the dreams they wish they'd dream!

i didn't see the dream part of your sentence and almost had a heart attack that they broke up. maybe, you can get one of those massage pads that you sit on (it vibrates) when sitting around the house and listen to a TMBG album.

in fact, i think i'll join you!

Yeah, I think I probably would be distraught if they broke up. :-) Maybe it wouldn't be quite like the Beatles, but I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one. I wouldn't even be one of the really affected ones, as I only heard about them a few years ago and have probably only been a fan for a year or two.

My mom got one of those massage pillow things for Christmas last year; it was a big hit with the girls I baby-sit for, when they came over to our house.

I think it would be funny to have a massage/TMBG party or something.

It was actually quite random. I was eating lunch with my friend Jenn on Friday, and her friend James came over. He was really excited because he'd just gotten this DVD and was carrying it around, admiring it. He asked what we were talking about, and Jenn said, "Holly's boyfriend just broke up with her." James looked at me and said, "I'm sorry." He looked down at his movie, held it up, and said, "You want to come watch this with me?" I did, so we did. :-)

The Might be Giants are far better than the beatles even if that is not recignised by as many people as it should have been
Beatles is extremely overrated
