Fuck politics - we got the bastard! I was against the war - but Saddam is a very very bad man, and I'm fucking thrilled that we nailed him. Maybe now things can start to heal in Iraq, instead of our soldiers dying. Maybe now he can pay for his crimes, which were tremendous. --theferrett
This does not signify an end to the war on terror. There will never be an end to the "war on terrorism." The whole concept of terrorism being a "war" is one big, crafted lie. --setharoo
Now the question is, what do the Dems do to take advantage of this news? --grafospasmo
This is one of those times when I hope that the Official Mainstream Mass Media will be fucking right for once and that (according to their theory) the attacks by the Iraqi Resistance will subside. --matthardwick

i agree that the world is better off without saddam hussein, undoubtedly. but i also know that this would be a better country without duh-bya at the supposed helm... --kwakhed

Oh I will most definitely add it, and with pleasure. You described my feelings on the subject at least as well as any of the others. In fact, when my roommate woke up, I told her "We caught Saddam." Really? she said. Yeah, living in a hole in his hometown, I said. (I was summarizing!)
She said, "Yay! I don't care."
And I think she truly meant both sentiments. I know I do.
