Seth and I played Scrabble. We had some great words, like "levers" and "squirts."

Scrabble is always fun.

Me: 'Ot'? That's not a word!
Seth: Sure it is. It means zero.
Me: It's not speleld like that.
Seth: How's it spelled?
Me: A-U-G-H-T.
Seth: [gets up, gets his Scrabble dictionary, looks it up] Awww, you're right. [removes his tiles from the board] But haven't you ever heard old people say they were born in ...
Me: Oh, I know it's a word, it's jut not spelled like that.
Seth: Darn English majors.

I always thought it was just naught.... or is it nought? The first might be better because you can call this decade "The Naughties".

I rather like the 00's (oh-oh's) for describing this decade.

I don't think proper names (or abbrieviations of proper names) are allowed in Scrabble. But a cool reference that I should have thought of nonetheless.

now that's just a loopy assumption there... :-P

i guess foreign words are out, so you couldn't use "einsturzende" or "neubauten"... and i guess we already said no abbreviations, so KMFDM is out too...
