Nice day

I almost finished sewing up the blanket that's allegedly a Christmas present for a friend, but it won't be ready in time because I'll see her tomorrow.

This evening I went to a housewarming party for a friend, with some of the other friends who have been in a group chat helping her deal with the logistics and emotions of leaving her partner of an approximately equivalent amount of time to how long I'd been with Andrew. Very much her own situation but also so many resonances for me. She still has lots of things to sort out of course but with a nice new place and good legal advice she's also clearly thriving, and it's nice to see her thriving.
