She's in Europe for other things now but the last thing she's going to do before she flies home is stay with me for a few days! I'm so excited. We've been online friends for ever but never managed to be in the same place.
"I told [someone] that I’m going to have you feed me exclusively from the cold sandwich case," Kat told me, and I laughed a lot. That's a level of catering I could definitely deal with!
"But! I mean. Sweet corn and coronation chicken and chicken stuffing and cheese and pickle!" Ah yes. I remember when all these were strange and new. I didn't even know what coronation chicken was until after I stopped eating meat.
