If drug dealers don't do it, who will?
Dec. 25th, 2002 10:24 pmMonday night Matthew and I were watching something on PBS--because it's what we watch when we don't have the History Channel--and there was a promo for how cool PBS is, or something like that. Matthew pointed out how amusing it was that there was a picture of Mr. Rogers, then Osama bin Laden, and then Jim Lehrer. "Sure," I said, "you know how those radical Islamic fundamentalists love PBS..."
A moment later, I added, "You know those commercials they have that say 'drug money supports terrorism,' or whatever it is? They should be: 'Drug money supports terrorism...but terrorists support PBS!' "
Matthew said he wanted to be a drug dealer becaue it would be funny to be a drug dealer who supports public television.
Be a drug dealer. Support public television.
