I'm tired and sad and I want a holiday. And apparently I just had one? Ahahahaha. Ha.

Everything seems so overwhelming, and I haven't even gone back to work yet. Haven't really started househunting again. Haven't thought about the LGBT+LD conference in London next weekend. What can possibly be wrong with me already?

It's an emotionally taxing "holiday" for sure. Hope you get some time away this year on actual holiday. I certainly hope to!

Yeah, it's not a holiday, but it's usually the only time I go anywhere or am away from responsibilities for more than a couple of days at a time.

I really hope this year's better for holidays too -- it's what I wanted last year, and didn't get -- and there are reasons to be more optimistic about it now than I could be last year. In the meantime, I've got a couple of days away with my boyfriend coming up -- only to Liverpool, but it's somewhere he lived for ages and knows well, so I'm really looking forward to that -- which is his birthday present to me, and I couldn't imagine a better one!
