I was a couple minutes late joining the team stand up and when I did one of my team said "Erik!!!" and another one said "maybe Erik can save us!"

Which is a hell of a way to start your day! I'd been hoping to sneak in and this is the furthest thing from...well maybe the furthest except yesterday, when I asked that colleague who said "Erik!" if she and her support worker could dial me in to their usual chat and when they did I was met with a Tears for Fears song, which we all laughed about and which was clearly a planned prank on their part but I never did get an explanation of why (why me, why that song...) which actually makes it all the funnier to me.

Anyway, that same person went on to explain "We're doing a quiz." Apparently because she'd said she's considering seeing the Barbie movie for a fourth time this weekend, our manager had mentioned there's a movie he saw seven times in the cinema and the others were trying to guess it.

I didn't have a chance to guess but it turned out to be Heat, which made me laugh so much because, as he said, "it's quite a blokey film" and other than me and him our team is young women so I don't think any of them had even heard of it. So yeah old bloke to the rescue.

I, of course, haven't seen it myself because I never watch movies, but for reasons I now forget diffrentcolours did show me the gunfight scene on YouTube not long ago which meant I could confidently recommend that much at least! (Our manager was worried that "it probably doesn't stand up very well...", he said that a few times, bless him for being hesitant in sharing his middle-aged-white-man tastes with his young and diverse team.)

It is, OTOH it does have Pacino and De Niro smouldering at each other.
