I had to be woken up from my doze in an armchair and told to go to bed. Old-man achievement unlocked! I was sitting all goofy, curled up with one shoe pressed into the other leg, because, y'know, still bisexual.

I didn't write yesterday. Couldn't think of anything to say. It was a perfectly okay day: work wasn't too demanding, I made dinner from the freezer, the sun was out.

Today was similar, though work was hilariously busy this afternoon: I was in Teams calls from 2 right through to 5 without even time to pee! And a GP telephone appointment which of course happened just as I was starting to talk in the first and biggest meeting, of course.

But the last hour of that was with my team so it was a lovely way to finish the day. I've hardly seen them since the beginning of July when usually we talk every day! Nice that things are getting back to normal for me.

Also today between work and the easy dinner from the freezer I was able to get out for a bike ride in what turned out to be the last of today's sunshine. We've hardly seen the sun since June, it's a precious thing.

I hope you have more ordinary days for a while. We've had torrential rains the past 2 nights in a row, with hot, humid days. This evening is cloudy and the temp has gone down a little, but it's still moderately humid.
