Sometimes it's better to light a flamethrower than curse the darkness

I think radio is a good intro to sports you don't know/follow very well. I was just telling my boyfriend the other day about how I got into cricket largely by just accidentally happening across it on my radio. It definitely is easier to do that way because the radio commentators know they have to explain more than the TV ones would; they know we can't see what they're seeing and in describing it they end up including more context and other stuff that might help make sense of what's happening.
