Giving myself a day "off" of almost everything yesterday and sleeping decently again last night did not helped at all with how exhausted I've felt in the last week or so.

If anything it's worse today: I haven't felt so incapable of doing my job looking after other people in quite some time. And when I got home I, who've barely managed a daytime nap in months despite usually being so good at them, just crashed for an hour and a half -- not even sinking into cozy sleep but just suddenly losing all ability to remain awake. I woke up discombobulated that it was time to make dinner.

I'm finishing this week like a runner collapsing onto the finish line, and just when I nearly reached the end of my work day...I found out I have to go to work on Sunday. It's for the good reason that my employer is getting a vaccine, and of course I can't complain about that but oof.

I'm taking a week off soon, in the hopes that that'll help me stop feeling so run-down.

Taking a week off sounds like an excellent plan. I hope it helps, too.
