It has been A day for everybody around me: [personal profile] mother_bones hurt her frozen shoulder, [personal profile] diffrentcolours dropped his breakfast on the floor, this evening Gary threw up and I couldn't even get him outside first...

Because of the second of those things, I learned where the mop is stored and how to use the carpet cleaner (sort of...I needed help and I'm not sure I could definitely do it without help next time because it needs lots of Being Sighted spoons, but I bet I could use it alone the time after next if I paid closer attention next time!). And the two leaf-shaped rugs that got cereal and milk on them were clean and dry again by the time Gary was sick on the third one. The hallway floor has probably not been so clean for ages.

I'm glad that as well as helping with the cleaning I could make dinner. Fajitas might not have been the best idea since we didn't have salsa or guacamole as we usually like to but they disappeared just as well as usual.

And I have plans to go for walks in parks with friends both tomorrow and Tuesday, fingers crossed for some good weather.

Shoulder issues are really horrible. Glad you were able to do stuff to help bad days.

Also an ob-reminder it is no more your fault you can't see to clean than it is mine that I am too spacky to do so. I know this is a really hard thing to remember cos sighted people suck and often have no empathy or clue.

Hope walks in park goes well!
