I don't mean to keep saying "it was a boring day," I do read stuff I'd like to talk about and etc., but I always feel too tired.

Today I woke up at 6:30 or so, was very unusually for me not awake for good but only for an hour before falling back asleep. When I woke up again I'd had the most miserable dreams. This has happened to me since I was a teenager: waking up slightly too early and then going back to sleep always seems to give me nightmares. Maybe that's why my subconscious gives me so much early-waking insomnia instead: better to just stay awake, heh.

I felt absolutely wretched when I got up, really didn't want to go to work, but I figured I might as well try behaving like someone who does so I had a shower and ate and walked the dog and even had time to lie down and rest a little more, because I still hadn't stopped being exhausted. Then when I noticed it was time to leave I just got up and put my shoes on and left for work, it didn't seem like a big deal

I made pasta and sauce for dinner, to use up a bunch of vegetables and the nice fake-chicken that all needed using. It didn't seem like a big deal to me but both [personal profile] diffrentcolours and [personal profile] mother_bones were effusive in their praise, which was sweet. After that we started the new season of Camp Cretaceous and watched [personal profile] diffrentcolours play Concrete Genie (well I had a try at it too, but I can't see well enough for it), so it was a nice evening.

That sounds like a rather pleasant day, once you got past the wretched dreams and exhaustion.

I enjoy reading your small posts as much as anything longer that you write.

I like the everyday posts you write and consistently fail to write anything as good for myself.
