15. What’s the biggest challenge in your life right now?

Ahaha. As must be pretty obvious, I feel like I dropped a bomb in the middle of my (and Andrew's) life a couple of weeks ago so I'm still looking through paperwork, making phone calls to banks, wondering where I'm going to put all my stuff, and many other such things. This is going to be my big challenge for a while yet.

I'm really lucky in a couple of respects and it's still hard enough even with a couple of things going as well as they can.

I admire your bravery and determination to move forward to a better life for yourself.

I don't feel brave but I guess I'm always determined. :) My parents tell me that as a toddler I went around saying "I do it! I do it!" all the time and tried to do everything by myself.

My definition of bravery is doing something that needs to be done when it's difficult and you may feel frightened or unsure. I see you as brave.

It really is. And it's harder in a pandemic because I really wish some of the conversations could happen in person, not just me trying to do things online and them failing and then spending ages on the phone... I've had a couple of long phone calls this week that ultimately didn't progress anything and it's so tiring.

Only a minimal amount so far, and nothing crucial, so I think I'm getting off pretty lightly!

As someone who is currently wrangling a lot of incoming stuff, and trying to balance that with needing to do admin for separate things, and not switching well between the two, I’m sending sympathy, love, and hugs!

I couldn't work out whether this is vaguebooking (which is perfectly legitimate!) or referring back to something I've missed. So I went back and read, and the only thing I can see is the post on the 7th about your name. But there you said you don't have any plans! Has that changed?

No, this is about me leaving Andrew, I've moved out and need to get out of the marriage and the mortgage.

Andrew and I are still on friendly terms, I've got a good place to live, I think it's all going as well as it can.
