I swear this list is longer than when I first looked at it this afternoon. And while some companies are suspending all political donations for the next few months, it's good to see so many specifically singling out the Sedition Caucus.

Exactly, it shouldn't have taken this but I'm still glad to see money talking even now, I wouldn't have been surprised if they'd all continued to do precisely nothing.

Mmm. They haven't all suddenly developed consciences, they're just worried about their pocketbooks. I'm glad they're doing it, but I'm trying to remember - NO BROWNIE POINTS.

Oh I never thought they had consciences, I just am glad to see anything making it more difficult for bad people to organize bad things online, and I'm glad to see some monetary consequences for elected officials who undermine democracy. I'm glad about the practical effects, much less bothered about their motivations.

It's not that I care about their motivations as that I'm going to be really irritated when people inevitably bring this up as a sign of their moral compasses.

Yeah, doing the bare minimum decent thing deserves no praise, just a nod of acknowledgement and maybe a 'what took y'all so long?'

There's something that's not very satisfying about knowing that they're doing it because they know it would be bad for business and image to be seen publicly supporting treasonweasels who have been public about being treasonweasels. Absent that, I suspect all of them would have been just fine continuing doing what they were doing and not thinking much about it because it's just business.
