Usually at work I see my employer L and his husband J. But today J was out at an important appointment and I got all the way to saying goodbye to L thinking I just wouldn't see J today.

But as I unlocked and opened the door to go, I saw him outside, just about to unlock it himself. We both surprised each other. I said "hi! bye!" and started walking away.

I'd only gotten a few steps away when J called after me. "I wanted to tell you there's a band called Charming Disaster, they have a playlist on Spotify called 'We Love The Moon' and I think you'd like it."

I do also love the moon.

And it reminded me I'd worn a t-shirt to work especially to show him because I thought he'd like it, so I unzipped my jacket enough to show him all the planets and the "TAKE UP SPACE" on it.

This vital information having been exchanged, it was time for me to go.
